Over the past few days the Church Council and Pastors at Girrawheen Baptist Church have carefully and prayerfully considered the correct actions to take in regard to the COVID-19 threat. We have an obligation to the safety of our church congregation and the wider community, and we must abide by government regulations.

Because of this our leadership team has decided to suspend all church services in our building from noon Sunday 22nd onward until further notice. We have also temporarily suspended Playgroup, Seniors, Sunday School, Craft group, and Missions prayer group. All small groups and gatherings are suspended until further notice. 

Please stay at home as much as possible and try to connect with us via WhatsApp, Facebook or messaging. Remember that God is our refuge and our fortress, Ps 91:1-6.

We hope to produce a weekly video service that will go out on various platforms and those who can’t see this might be able to gather with a church or family member who can. We will also be keeping in touch through social media, phone calls, and other means.
