Prayer Meeting

Everyone is welcome and join the Prayer Meeting. It is

  • To encourage ourselves in the teaching of life's greatest privilege – PRAYER
  • To promote the teaching of prayer in the Girrawheen Baptist Church and the local community
  • To identify and encourage production of literature for the purpose of teaching prayer
  • To provide resource material for leaders of prayer meetings
  • To train those desiring to be leaders of prayer meetings
  • All for the increase of the quantity and quality of prayer in the lives of God’s people

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayers earnestly that it would not rain and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruits.

James 5:17-18
